Call of Helicopters - Act Two

Safehouse

HELICOPTER #89 lies wrecked and abandoned on a small hill to the west of the church. The player later uses this HELICOPTER's minigun to destroy five HELICOPTERS near the beginning of
'Heat.' It is a UH-60 Black Hawk.

HELICOPTER #90 is flown by a Russian Loyalist, and can be called in by the player to provide supporting fire. It is a Mil Mi-28 "Havoc."

All Ghillied Up

HELICOPTER #91 flies over the player and Cpt. MacMillan after they exit the church building. It is a Mil Mi-24 "Hind."

HELICOPTERS #92, #93, #94 & #95 are parked around the area where the Ultranationalists are disposing of bodies. They are all Mil Mi-24 "Hinds."

HELICOPTER #96 hovers near the large group of Ultranationalist troops and vehicles encountered after the player and MacMillan exit a shipping container. It is a Mil Mi-24 "Hind."

HELICOPTER #97 flies past the front windows of a building the player and MacMillan are proceeding through, shortly after MacMillan describes Pripyat as a "ghost town." It is a Mil Mi-24 "Hind."

One Shot, One Kill

HELICOPTER #98 abruptly obscures the player's line of sight while they are aiming at Imran Zakhaev. The player shoots it down soon after. It is an Mil Mi-28 "Havoc."

HELICOPTERS #99 & #100 fly in from the left shortly after the player shoots down HELICOPTER #98. They are Mil Mi-28 "Havocs."

HELICOPTERS #101 & #102 drop a large amount of Ultranationalist soldiers in the south-eastern corner of the large open area that the player and MacMillan must fight through after they escape the exploding hotel. These two helicopters will show up over and over, dropping off more and more soldiers until the player passes this section. If there are already enough soldiers on this battlefield, they will still fly in and lower their ropes, but no soldiers will descend them. They are Mil Mi-8 "Hips."

HELICOPTER #103 drops Ultranationalist soldiers into the south-western corner of the aforementioned battlefield. It is a Mil Mi-8 "Hip."

HELICOPTER #104 can often be glimpsed in the distance several times during the battle after escaping the hotel, though it vanishes and reappears unpredictably. If the player takes too long to leave the area, it will fly into the middle of it and open fire. It is a Mil Mi-28 "Havoc."

HELICOPTER #105 can be seen in the distance when the player looks out of a south-eastern window in the first apartment they run through. It is a Mil Mi-28 "Havoc."

HELICOPTER #106 attacks the player shortly after they exit the apartment, before being shot down by MacMillan and breaking his leg. It is a Mil Mi-28 "Havoc."

HELICOPTER #107 flies over the second apartment the player and MacMillan are about to enter and drops several Ultranationalist troops into a courtyard. It is a Mil Mi-8 "Hip."

HELICOPTER #108 drops Ultranationalist troops behind a wall at the southern end of the courtyard. It is a Mil Mi-8 "Hip."

HELICOPTER #109 drops troops into the wooded area to the player's right as they are entering the apartment. It is a Mil Mi-8 "Hip."

HELICOPTER #110 can be seen very briefly when the player reaches the second storey of the apartment. It hovers in front of the ferris wheel, then flies off. It is a Mil Mi-28 "Havoc."

HELICOPTERS #111, #112, #113 & #114 drop a large number of Ultranationalist troops into the area around the ferris wheel. They are Mil Mi-8 "Hips."

HELICOPTER #115 eventually arrives to extract the player and MacMillan from the battlefield. It is a CH-46 Sea Knight.

Heat

HELICOPTERS #116, #117, #118, #119 & #120 fly in from the south-east while the player is using HELICOPTER #89's minigun. If they are not shot down, they will drop many Ultranationalist troops into the area. They will in all likelihood be shot down. They are Mil Mi-8 "Hips."

HELICOPTERS #121, #122 & #123 drop several Ultranationalists in and around the field where the S.A.S. are trying to reach the barn. They are Mil Mi-8 "Hips."

HELICOPTER #124 extracts the S.A.S. from the combat zone. It is a CH-46 Sea Knight.

The Sins of the Father
